Salutations
Why, hello there. I'm Old Tom and you're about to venture into my Dynasty Trade Chart Values.
I hope you set all preconceived assumptions, at the gate.
I don't often fair well, with the masses.
Nonetheless, I give you my utmost assurance I remain true to myself and the wisdom I've added over my many years.

Preamble
We all do it and we all have it done to us - trade offers.
One of the greatest gifts the human race has been given, no doubt.
However, some times it becomes difficult to navigate these waters.
Let Old Tom help.
Whenever you receive a trade you want to make sure you're not exchanging a nice crisp $1 bill for 4 shiny quarters.
That's a recipe for disaster.
Even in "rebuilding mode" you still need to make sure you solidify some form of a cornerstone.
Don't get me wrong, there are definitely times to gamble on potential, but Old Tom highly suggests avoiding your biggest and/or only return being based on chance.
Yikes!

Chapter 1:
How This Works
Old Tom likes to view dynasty squads like bank accounts.
"But Old Tom, I'm in rebuild mode. I'm not winning this year & thus would like to prepare myself for the future."
A fair & common philosophy.
Again, though, just make sure your future return is AT LEAST the same as your current distribution.
Would you lend a friend $10 today for somewhere between $7-$12 tomorrow?
Squads in rebuild mode, have nothing to lose.
Consequently, you must leverage every asset you have.
If you ever feel low-balled, and unable to improve your return, than Old Tom offers this advise - Just Hold.
One rule of thumb I've always found ample success with is to try & receive the best possible dynasty asset, in every trade.
"Well, no duh, Old Tom...or should I said 'Captain Obvious Tom'?!"
This won't always happen, but if you aim to stay true to this destination I think your lens will adjust, for the better.
As alluded to above, there begins to become a sort of "cut-off point" on trade offers.
Presuming you run with my advise to receive at least the same overall value you trade away, this chart may help:
1 for 1 = Ideal
2 for 1 = Worth Your Time
3 for 1 = Not Great
4+ for 1 = Highly Unlikely
- With that analogy, your return should be AT LEAST the same overall value as your delivery.
